DiaDem Organic Electronics Promo

The University of Liverpool approached us with an exciting opportunity to create a brand film for their groundbreaking new research platform, “Diadem.” Diadem is pioneering a platform for organic electronics, providing an end-to-end solution that bridges digital discovery with experimental verification. The platform streamlines the process by linking the virtual screening of small molecule candidates with the chemical supply chain, much like the exploration of novel lead compounds in the drug discovery industry. This innovative approach extends the range of suitable structures for a variety of applications, including light-emitting diodes, photovoltaics, transistors, and sensors.

To capture the essence of the Diadem platform and the cutting-edge research behind it, we spent a few days filming at the University of Liverpool’s Materials Innovation Factory. During this time, we documented the work of key researchers as they pushed the boundaries of organic semiconductor technology. In addition to showcasing their lab work, we filmed engaging “to-camera” interviews with project leaders and key contributors, offering a deeper insight into the platform’s vision and the ambitious research goals driving its development.

The project was a fantastic experience, providing a rare glimpse into the meticulous effort and collaboration that takes place behind the scenes in state-of-the-art laboratories. The University of Liverpool received a comprehensive media package, including a main brand film, a selection of high-quality photographs, and shorter video cuts optimised for social media platforms. These assets have significantly enhanced their online presence and helped to showcase the fascinating research happening within the Diadem project.
